Kelly Martin
CEO
Kelly is the Chief Executive of South Pacific Pictures. She oversees the management and direction of the company and all its productions. She is also responsible for generating and maintaining key relationships with South Pacific Pictures' shareholders, distributors, production partners and industry bodies.

Andrew Szusterman
Managing Director
Andrew joined South Pacific Pictures in 2020 as Managing Director and has established the company as a leader in Unscripted Content, including local versions of titles Travel Guides, The Dog House, Snack Masters and The Traitors NZ .
Prior to South Pacific Pictures, Andrew has been a Senior Executive in both radio and television with MediaWorks Radio and TV3 and was a former Head of Music at MTV UK and Ireland.

Tania Bettany
Chief Financial Officer
Tania is South Pacific Pictures Chief Financial Officer. She manages the corporate and production finance departments, overseeing all daily transactions, providing reports to shareholders and other interested parties. She also manages, develops and implements the financial systems for the company.

Jessica Wiseman
Head of Legal and Business Affairs
Jessica is South Pacific Pictures' Head of Legal and Business Affairs. With wide experience in intellectual property, licensing, online media and entertainment law, Jessica is the lawyer for most of the needs of the productions and the company, including writing and negotiating contracts with funders, broadcasters, personnel and others.

Sally Campbell
Head of Production
Sally Campbell is an experienced producer with nearly 30 years in the industry. She has history as a Production Accountant, Production Manager, Line Producer, Producer and Executive Producer.
She has been a Producer on five series of the international television series Power Rangers, and on Legend of the Seeker in 2010, and Line Producer on 2013’s Evil Dead.
From 2001 to 2003, Sally was the Head of Production at South Pacific Pictures and was instrumental in the producing TV drama such as Mercy Peak, Mataku, Being Eve, Shortland Street and the internationally acclaimed film Whale Rider. Sally served as Executive Producer on Mataku, Being Eve and Shortland Street, and Executive Producer and Line Producer on Mercy Peak.
More recently Sally has produced four series of the award winning The Brokenwood Mysteries.

Hayley Cunningham
Head of Unscripted
Hayley’s career in unscripted television began as a producer on multiple incarnations of The Amazing Race, including the International Emmy-winning Australian version. Series Producer of The X-Factor NZ for Three, she then went on to Executive Produce The Real Housewives of Auckland and 2019’s Best Format Reality Series, Dancing with the Stars NZ for three seasons. Hayley then moved in-house at Media Works, starting as the Head of Development and soon stepping into the role of Senior Network Executive, responsible for three seasons of MAFS NZ, Patrick Gower: On Weed, Stan and Gogglebox NZ. Hayley has since joined South Pacific Pictures as it’s Head of Unscripted, working to expand its slate, including overseeing local versions of hit formats such as The Dog House, Travel Guides, Snack Masters & Sort Your Life Out.

Tim Balme
Writer / Producer
Tim Balme is an experienced writer, storyliner and script editor.
Tim has been writing for television since 2005, when scriptwriter James Griffin read his unmade movie script based on the successful play The Ballad of Jimmy Costello, and invited Tim to write for police drama Interrogation.
Tim went on to join the storylining team for series 2 of Outrageous Fortune and was an integral writer over the six series. He was a key storyliner for that show alongside James and fellow-creator Rachel Lang, as well as writing or co-writing scripts for 22 of the episodes. Tim was also a storyliner and script writer for all 3 series of TV3’s comedy drama The Almighty Johnsons, as well as acting in one of the lead roles.
After leaving his three year long post as Head of Development for South Pacific Pictures, Tim oversaw the development of The Brokenwood Mysteries, a murder mystery miniseries for Prime TV in New Zealand. He is now the Lead Writer on the series.

Jo Johnson
Development Executive
Jo provides administrative support to the development department including assessing submissions, preparing funding applications and selling documents, and liaising with writers and devisors of projects in development.

James Griffin
Head Writer
James Griffin is New Zealand’s best known creator and writer of television drama and comedy with credits that range from 800 Words and The Almighty Johnsons to Shortland Street and Sione's Wedding.
Most recently James has co-created 800 Words with Maxine Fleming and also wrote one of the four telefeatures in South Pacific Pictures' murder mystery series, The Brokenwood Mysteries. Along with Rachel Lang , James co-created Westside, the six-part prequel to Outrageous Fortune, set in 1970s and 80s Auckland and focusing on Ted and Rita West.

Nick Malmholt
Executive Producer (Shortland Street)
Shortland Street’s Executive Producer Nick Malmholt, started as a journalist, then went onto copywriting before finding his passion in television drama.
Nick has enjoyed many years of collaboration as a writer, executive producer and creator on many successful productions around the world including Shortland Street, Coronation Street, Neighbours and the award winning series Bad Girls.

Melanie Jones
As Studio Manager
Melanie is responsible for all property related matters within the studio complex. This includes all repairs and maintenance, security, cleaning, upgrades or refurbishment to the building.
Melanie also oversees the marketing and rental of Studios 1 and 2 to external clients, as well as liaising between the various productions working within the studios.
