Nothing Trivial
39 x 1hr comedy/drama, plus 1 x 2hr telefeature

Nothing Trivial is a romantic comedy/drama that deals with some of the bigger questions about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. The show is set in the convivial and highly competitive world of pub trivia and is based around a quiz team of five late 30/early 40-year-olds, who have one thing in common: each of them is unhappy or unlucky in love. Nothing Trivial is good-hearted entertainment, about people who are all at a crossroads in their lives, particularly when it comes to finding that significant other to love and grow old with. In season two, the five lovelorn members of Sex on a Stick have moved on, in more ways than one. If last time was all about being single, this time the team members are working out how to be part of a couple. Especially after a vicious divorce; custody battles; your true love unavailable - and can a root rat really change the habits of a lifetime? The team might have brushed up on their knowledge of geography, popular culture and flags of the world, but they're still battling with the really important questions. By season 3, our characters' focus is on how to be part of a family - in its various permutations. It's also a lot about trust... And in a very special one-off event, the Nothing Trivial telefeature picks up the fate of New Zealand's favourite pub quiz team.
