Jacksons Wharf

Mention the name Jackson on Kaupapa Peninsula, and any local will nod sagely - then ask which one you're after. Jackson is a name that's been part of this community since 1844. Jackson's Wharf is a small coastal town about two hours from the nearest city. Local police sergeant Frank Jackson rules the community roost, and things around Jackson's Wharf are usually done his way. But when his hot-shot brother Ben moves his children back to the town, the sibling rivalry between the pair threatens to affect everyone around them. In series 2, it's a year on since widower Ben returned to Jackson's Wharf, and the youngest Jackson brother, Calvin is in prison, charged with the murder of missing teenager, Chantelle Judd. Frank is convinced of his innocence, Ben is convinced he needs a damn good lawyer. And that sums up the difference between them. Mahina's had a bad year with her marriage break up. She's gone back to Frank for the sake of the kids, but her heart is still with Ben. Her nephew, local bad boy Zane, holds the key to the disappearance of Chantelle, information which may dramatically change him; and then there's the two newcomers who wash up in Jackson's Wharf?
